Video: SNL Spoofs GTA IV
To say that Saturday Night Live is still on the cutting edge of comedy would be presuming the tip of a musket plunger could be sharp enough to pierce through a barrier of banality. Fresh off the release of GTA IV, the cut-ups at SNL cobbled together a skit for their most recent Weekend Update segment.
With Bill Hader as Niko and Fred Armisen as Vlad, the two poke fun at GTA IV's mo-capping and outrageous dialog. And like the typical SNL skit, it stops being funny five minutes before it ends.
In this case, Niko and Vlad appear five minutes before the end of the segment.
